Yesterday I was invited to the first meeting of the Digikring groot Amsterdam. Nice evening with presentations and good discussions. We’re going to Paris for Les Blogs, organised bij Loic le Meur. Guido and I will visit the conference about blogging and social networks, together with over 250 other participants from about 20 countries. The Netherlands are well represented with 22 people. We’ll be dining in Paris tonight with 12 Lees verder
The Blognomics event was great, with nearly a hundred people visiting. Presentations, blog posts about the event, pictures, podcasts, videos and so on can be found at blognomics.nl. Today a paid a short visit to the TINE. Mainly to investigate for the day after tomorrow, when our blog event Blognomics will be held. I also took a short walk through one of the three halls and made a short photo impression.
The internet makes physical distance irrelevant. Well, that could be one of the advantages in a lot of cases. On the other hand, someone you know from the internet could perfectly well be your neighbor. Or at least live in your neighborhood. I just discoverd feedmap, a service that uses Lees verder
More and more people are getting worried about their privacy. The American Civil Liberties Union has made a great video of what could happen if a Big Brother or Matrix scenario will come true. It’s funny but scary at the same time. Watch it.
